ZEBRA collects personal data relating to any person consulting or using the ANGELL.BIKE Site and/or the eponymous application and/or by ordering one of our products. You may be asked to communicate your personal data in particular when you are in contact with ZEBRA, when you create an account on the Site, when you place an order for a product, when you browse the Site or when you use a service.

We may use this personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. ZEBRA may also combine it with other information to provide and improve our products, services, content and advertising. You are under no obligation to provide us with any personal data we request. However, if you choose not to, we may not be able to provide you with our products and services, or even answer your questions.

The types of personal data we may collect and how we may use it are as follows:

I - COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

A - PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

When you use our services, we collect the following types of information:

1 - INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

1.ANGELL Account Information

When you create an account, purchase a product, download our app and/or software update, log in to our services, contact us, including through social networks, we may collect a range of information, such as your name, postal address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, gender, height, weight, contact preferences, device IDs, IP address, location information, and profile information when you contact us through social networks.

2.Card Payment Information
If you purchase an Angell product from our website, you provide your payment information, which is your name, credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and shipping/billing address.
Payment information is not processed or stored on our servers. Third party payment organizations may, however, retain this information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.
We retain your shipping address in order to route your order.

2 - INFORMATION WE RECEIVE WHEN YOU USE OUR SERVICES
  1. Angell Bike Information
    Your Angell bike collects data such as how many miles you ride, how far you've ridden, and your location. When your device syncs with our app, the data stored on your device is transferred from your device to our servers.
  2. Geolocation Information
    Location-based services and services that include features that use precise geolocation data, including real-time geographic location, including GPS signals, device sensors, Bluetooth, your IP address, Wi-Fi hotspots, and cell phone base station identifiers. We collect this type of data if you allow us to access your location. You can always opt out of this access by disabling the location feature in the application settings. If you deny access to your location, you will not be able to use certain features of our application such as distance traveled, route traveled, and navigation.

    When you allow access to your geolocation data, it is used in the background to allow you to use your bike in navigation mode.

  3. Product and Service Usage Information
    When you access or use our Services, we receive certain usage data. This includes information about your interactions with the Services. For example, when you view content, search for content, create your account, log into your account, link your Angell bike to your account or app, or open an app on your Angell product and interact with it. We may also collect information about your purchase history, product returns, and correspondence with us.

    For example, we may collect your email address, your cell phone number, and the type of smartphone you use.

    We also collect data about the devices and computers you use to access the Services, including IP addresses, internet service provider, browser type, language, operating system, hardware configuration, typical software configuration, device or computer information (including application identifiers, referring web page, pages visited, and cookie information.

    When using our application, we may collect data about your geolocation, time of use, pedaling frequency, and navigation.

    If you have previously agreed, you may receive notifications from ZEBRA about your bike, which you can disable in the application settings on your smartphone.
4.information received from third parties

If you connect your account on our services to an account you have on another service in order to cross-ship, we may receive information from that other service, including your profile information, login information and any other information you have authorized to be disclosed.

You may also choose to allow us access to your activity or exercise data from another service. You can stop sharing information from that other service by turning off the feature in the "Applications" portion of the Angell app.

We may partner with third parties, such as insurance companies, service and repair companies, etc., that offer services around the Angell product. In this case, we may provide them with your name, email address or similar information (such as a phone number or subscriber ID) so that you can access their services.

II - USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Purpose: The data collected is intended for use by ZEBRA and the companies in the Group to which it belongs. It is necessary for the optimal functioning of the Angell bicycle, and in particular for the delivery of the following services included in the application, without this list being exhaustive: navigation assistance, security (fall detector, anti-theft system, locking system) and performance.

We may collect and process your personal data only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy with your consent, and, in order to comply with a legal obligation, for the performance of the contract you have entered into, the safeguarding of your vital interests, and/or the performance of a public interest mission.

We may disclose such data to third parties as provided in this Privacy Policy, in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act.

use the data we collect for the following purposes:

A - PROVIDE THE SERVICES

The use of the personal data collected allows us to provide the customer with the services and to respect the general sales conditions that bind us to you.

The personal data that you provide us on the Angell site to place an order for a bicycle or accessories Angell are collected by our internal services and are subject by them to a computer processing intended for the treatment of your order, the management of your order, the sending of your order, the establishment of the invoices, and the personalization of the communication in particular by the letters or electronic mails of information if you accepted them.

Some of your device's technical data is automatically collected by the Site (including your IP address, Internet service provider, hardware configuration, software configuration, browser type and language) for statistical purposes.

The information you provide when downloading and using the Angell application is used to:

  • get you to your destination to give you the smoothest ride possible,
  • help you reach your time and performance goals, allow you to track your activity
  • ensure the safety of your bike, automatically lock your bike when you ride away, inform you if your Angell bike's position changes.
B - INFORMING YOU
Personal data collected is used to inform you about our products and services that may be of interest to you in the form of a newsletter. If you do not wish to be included in this mailing list, you can opt out at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the newsletter page.

The personal data collected is intended to respond to you when you contact us

. The personal data collected may be used to inform you about products purchased, software updates and changes to our terms of use and privacy policy. As the transmission of this information is important and required by law, you cannot object to receiving this information.

C - DEVELOPING AND CUSTOMIZING OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Personal data collected is also used to improve our products, services, and content.

For example, information such as your height, weight, gender, and age is used to improve the accuracy of your Angell bike's electric assist.

Data is also collected to customize the Site based on your stated preferences and to enhance your experience on the Site.

Personal data collected may be used for internal purposes, such as audits, testing, data analysis and research to improve Angell's products, services and customer communications.

If you enter a sweepstakes, contest or similar promotional event, the information you provide in connection with the administration of these programs may be collected and used.

D - PROMOTING THE SAFETY OF OUR SERVICES
Personal data collected may be used for the safety and security of our services, our customers and third parties.

Personal data is collected for loss prevention and fraud prevention purposes following an online transaction on the website. The use of personal data for anti-fraud purposes is limited to that which is strictly necessary and in our legitimate interests to protect the customer and the services.

Personal data collected, including date of birth, may be used to verify your identity.

We may receive personal data about you from third parties if they share their content with you through Angell products. We may also verify the information you provide to us when you create an Angell account with a third party for security and fraud prevention purposes.

III - DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES
We do not sell, trade, or rent our customers' personally identifiable information to third parties. Personal information collected is only disclosed to third parties in the limited circumstances described below.

A - SERVICE PROVIDERS
We only share personal data with affiliates, service providers and other partners who provide services such as processing information, fulfilling customer orders, delivering products, managing and developing customer data, providing customer service, customer support, and improving our products and services. These companies are obligated to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws. They may be located in any country in which ZEBRA does business.

B - FOR LEGAL REASON OR TO PREVENT DAMAGE
We may be required by law, regulation, legal process, litigation and/or a request from public authorities in your country of residence or otherwise to disclose your personal data. We may also disclose information about you if we believe that for purposes of national security, law enforcement or other matters of public interest, combating illegal activity, fraud, or abuse, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.

Personal data collected may be transferred, but only if legally justified and if we believe that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce compliance with our terms and conditions of use and sale.

C - PRIOR INFORMATION FOR DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA IN THE EVENT OF A RESTRUCTURING, MERGER OR SALE
In addition, in the event of a restructuring, merger or sale, we will maintain the confidentiality of your personal data and inform you if your personal data is subject to any new privacy rules.

D - AGGREGATION OF DATA
We may publish, disclose and use personal and non-personal information that is aggregated or anonymized so that it cannot be used in combination to identify an individual. To do this, we may aggregate information about all of our other users and ANGELL accounts with available personal data about the user. For example, in public reports on activity and exercise, to partners under contract with us, for industry and market analysis, demographic profiling, promotional and advertising purposes, and other business purposes.

IV - DATA RETENTION AND INTEGRITY

A- RETENTION PERIOD FOR PERSONAL DATA
Data purging means are put in place to provide for the effective deletion of personal data once the retention or archiving period necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above has been reached.

Data purging facilities are in place to provide for the effective deletion of personal data when you delete your account. You have the option of deleting your account at any time, both on the website and by deleting the application from your smartphone.

Independently of the possibility of deleting your account and in accordance with the law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, the files and freedoms, you have in addition a right of suppression of your personal data which you can exert constantly by taking contact with Mr. Jerome PUJOL with the following address pujol@pujolavocats.com or by mail RAR addressed to Mr. Jerome PUJOL, 3 Avenue Franklin Delano Roosevelt, 75008 Paris, France.

For security reasons, if you have not authenticated yourself on the Site or on the application for a period of three years, your account will be deactivated.

B - PERIOD OF RETENTION OF ANONYMOUS DATA BEYOND THE CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP AND AFTER THE DELETION OF THE ACCOUNT
We keep personal data for the period strictly necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Beyond this period, it will be anonymized and kept for statistical purposes, and for analysis of the sector and the market.

C - INTEGRITY OF PERSONAL DATA
We also guarantee to maintain the accuracy, regular updating and integrity of your personal data. You can update your personal data at any time in the following way, on the site in the "my account" section, and on the application in the "profile" section.

V - DATA SECURITY

A - SECURITY MEASURES
The security of your personal data is a priority for us.

We undertake to implement all appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risks of accidental, unauthorized or illegal access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction of personal data concerning you.

We have put in place a procedure and appropriate measures to prevent any fraudulent use of bank details to place an order on the Site. We have entrusted the security of these transactions to Axepta, BNP Paribas group, in order to protect as effectively as possible all sensitive data related to payment methods.

B - NOTIFICATION IN THE EVENT OF AN INCIDENT
In the event that we become aware of illegal access to your personal data stored on our servers or those of our service providers, or of unauthorized access resulting in the realization of the risks identified above, we undertake to notify you of the incident as soon as possible, to examine the causes of the incident and to inform you of them, and to take the necessary measures within the limits of reasonableness in order to reduce the negative effects and prejudices that may result from the incident.

In no case the commitments defined above relating to the notification in the event of a security incident can be assimilated to any recognition of fault or responsibility for the occurrence of the incident in question.

VI - CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
We will notify you before making any changes to this Privacy Policy and allow you to review the amended policy before deciding whether to continue using our services.

In the event of a material change, a notice will be posted on our website, as well as on the App, along with the updated Privacy Policy.

VII - YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

A - ACCESS TO DATA
You can consult your personal information on the website on the page "my account", or on the application in the section "my profile".

B - MODIFICATION AND DELETION OF DATA
You can help us ensure that your information and preferences are accurate, complete and up-to-date by logging on to the website on the "my account" page, or on the app in the "my profile" section.

You may delete your data by deleting your account on the website, and/or by deleting the application from your smartphone, provided that we are not required to retain it by law as set out in the section on disclosure of your data.

Please note that if you delete your data, we will no longer be able to identify you as an Angell customer, and will not be able to track your bike, maintain it, or update it.

If you choose to delete your account, most of your information will be deleted within 30 days, however, it may take up to 90 days to delete all of your information.

We may object to the deletion of your data in the following circumstances: the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, to comply with a legal obligation which requires processing under Union law or the law of the Member State to which the controller is subject, or to perform a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, for reasons of public interest in the field of public health, for archival purposes in the public interest, for scientific or historical research or statistical purposes or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

If you reside in certain countries, you may have a number of legal rights with respect to your information, which you can exercise through your account settings.

C - OBJECTION TO DATA USE
You can on the "preferences" page of the Angell application control our use of data and the notifications we may send you.

In the "Applications" section you can also revoke access to third party applications that you have previously connected to your account.

You can also use the Angell application to disassociate your device from your account at any time by clicking "log out"

D - RIGHT TO SHARE YOUR DATA
If you choose to allow us to access your data from another service, we may receive information from that other service, including your profile information, login information, and any other information you have authorized to be disclosed. You may stop sharing information from that other service with us by removing access to that other service by deleting access to those other services in the "Applications" section of your Angell application.

In accordance with Article 20 of the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to transfer your data to another data controller where technically possible by contacting the Data Controller at the above address.
